New Zealand will face the challenge of Indian in 1^st T-20 International Match of the 3 match series at Wellington on Wednesday. Team India won the five-match ODI series comprehensively 4-1. It is interesting to note that New Zealand have the upper hand when it comes to bilateral T20 series against India. So far, there have been three bilateral T20 series between the two nations and New Zealand have won two out of those three.

India would be looking to continue their dominant run in the T20 series as well, but Mohammad Shami is not part of the T20 squad. So there is a chance of Siddarth Kaul getting a game in.
